PNN – A Zionist general stated that the situation in the north of the occupied territories is completely in favor of Hezbollah, and emphasized that the Zionist regime should not enter into a war with the Lebanese Islamic resistance. A war that does not even know its goals.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing SAMA news agency, Yisrael Zif, the former head of the operations department of the Zionist regime, said in a statement: If an all-out war with Lebanon happens now, this conflict will happen at the worst possible time for the Zionist regime.
He emphasized: Entering into the most difficult war after 9 months will include the entire domestic front. Does the Israeli regime have a convincing reason for entering such a war?
Zif added: Israel (the Zionist regime) with all its problems, should not enter into a war that it cannot even determine its goals.
This Zionist general continued that bringing the Zionist regime into a long-term war of attrition is a simple and convenient option for Hezbollah, because it knows that this regime is stuck in a deep swamp in the Gaza Strip and has no solution, and the situation in the north is completely in favor of Hezbollah.
He added: Entering into such a war is considered a victory for Hezbollah, because it is destroying the settlements in the north and is not afraid of the Israeli army battalions.
Zif said: The war in the Gaza Strip continues without any clear goal from the political officials. There is no war administration in the Gaza Strip and what the cabinet is saying is not clear.
Also, Ilan Lotan, the former senior official of the Zionist Intelligence and Internal Security Organization (Shabak) said in this regard: the towns in the north are deserted and the areas of al-Mutla, Kiryat Shemone and al-Manara have been destroyed.
He raised this question: What does Israel want to do after 9 months of war with Hezbollah, will it continue in this situation for two years or does it want to change the reality?
Lotan added: If the war continues, the situation will be a win-win equation for Hezbollah and (Sayed Hassan) Nasrallah.
The Zionist regime’s threats to launch a full-scale war against Lebanon are viewed with skepticism by many analysts and observers of the Zionist regime’s affairs.
These analysts pointed out that the international community did not accompany Tel Aviv’s full-scale war against Lebanon, and also acknowledged the fatigue and collapse of the Zionist army.
At the same time, Zionist analysts, referring to the inability of the Israeli regime in the war against Lebanon, admitted that the army of this regime has suffered from erosion, fatigue and despair after more than eight months of war in the Gaza Strip.
Amos Hariel, a Zionist analyst, said: The war with Hezbollah will make the depth of Israel face a great and unprecedented challenge, and the northern and central cities of Israel will be exposed to a much wider attack than before.
Since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa storm operation on October 7, 2023, Hezbollah and some Palestinian resistance groups in southern Lebanon have targeted the positions of the occupying forces and Zionist settlements in the north of occupied Palestine.
The aim of Lebanon’s Hezbollah in this operation was to involve a major part of the Zionist military in northern Palestine and reduce the pressure on the resistance in the Gaza Strip.
This has made the north of occupied Palestine unsafe for the Zionist settlers and they have fled from this area. For this reason, large parts of this area are uninhabited, and the Zionists settled in settlements near the border with Lebanon have declared that they are not willing to return to these areas even after the end of the war.
