PNN – According to a Hebrew-language media outlet, the 14-article agreement presents a kind of confusion for the Israeli regime.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network: Zeman Yisrael wrote in a report: The fourteen-article agreement signed in Washington between Israel and (the pro-Western and mercenary government) Lebanon has caused confusion, and this is no coincidence.
Headlines warn that Israel is preparing to escalate tensions in the north (of occupied Palestine), headlines that do not reflect the reality of the days following this diplomatic achievement.
The report continued: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a celebratory press conference yesterday, describing it as a historic achievement for Israel.
The Israeli media outlet wrote after this description: Netanyahu’s words implied that we had long promised a complete and decisive victory, and in the end, we handed you a bird that barely resembles a dove.
This move reminds many experts of previous agreements between Israel and Lebanon over the years, which, as we know, failed to eliminate the Hezbollah threat to the northern settlements.
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz explained yesterday that in his view, the agreement is a historic event and a significant political and security achievement for Israel.
Meanwhile, Amit Segal, on Channel 12’s “Meet the Press” program yesterday, questioned why all those who claimed that every war should end with a final political phase now accept this agreement with such skepticism and bitterness.
In this regard, Yair Golan, the head of the Israeli Democratic Party, predicted in a post on social media that the agreement signed in Washington will not have the capacity to be implemented, because if there was the ability to disarm Hezbollah, this would have been done long ago, and the Lebanese government would not have waited for the signing of an agreement with Israel to do so.
This former general and current politician on the Israeli scene added: However, at this particular point, Netanyahu’s severe strategic failure is evident. To achieve this, you need the mobilization of the United States, Europe, and moderate (compromising) countries, but during Netanyahu’s rule, Israel has lost its trust, influence, and strategic alliances to accomplish this task in the world.
Under the rule of Benjamin Netanyahu, instead of us harnessing the global system to serve our security interests, Israel has become isolated and weakened, and has become incapable and incapable of mobilizing the support necessary to achieve its goals.
In another part of his post, he admitted that we are experiencing another chapter in a series of defeats, that it is not possible to disarm Hezbollah, just as we were unable to disarm Hamas, the threat against the residents of the north (occupied Palestine) will not be eliminated, and there will be no talk of achieving real security for them.
Yair Golan emphasized that what we are witnessing was done primarily and solely for the purposes of election propaganda and selling the illusion of achievement.
