Slovenia opposes Israeli plane landing

Slovenia

PNN – The CEO of Israel Airlines announced that the authorities of Slovenia prevented a charter plane from landing at a Slovenian airport for political reasons.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Yuri Sirkis announced on Wednesday that the plane was forced to change its route to Zagreb, Croatia, after Slovenian authorities objected.

According to reports, the plane is operated by Croatia’s Trade Air on behalf of an Israeli company.

Slovenian authorities cited the Israeli airline’s lack of necessary permits as the reason for the plane’s objection to landing.

Sirkis told the Kan news network that the move reflected Slovenia’s “clear opposition to Israel’s policies and orientations,” describing the decision as clearly political.

Earlier, Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golub called for the suspension of the EU’s cooperation agreement with the Zionist regime, declaring that Israel was brutally violating international law.

Golub wrote in a message on the social network X on Thursday: Despite the ceasefire agreement, Israel is targeting Lebanon in the most severe way possible.

Despite the ceasefire agreement, the Zionist regime has carried out widespread attacks against targets in Lebanon, including in the country’s capital, Beirut.
