PNN – Oleg Roy, Head of the Eurasian Writers’ Union, emphasized that the United States uses fabrications as a tool for aggression against Iran.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Oleg Roy, Head of the Eurasian Writers’ Union, discussed US and Zionist aggression against Iran; the details of his remarks follow:
Today, the US administration under Donald Trump is propagating various narratives and stories regarding Iran. These actors are accustomed to fabrication and strive to present these false narratives in a way that provides a pretext for aggression and justifies their objectives.
At the heart of all these issues lies a fundamental factor: trade, and specifically oil. The United States seeks to control oil resources. This is why countries such as Venezuela and Cuba—along with other regions of the world—face such pressures; the U.S. acts as if it possesses a right to this control, even though no such right has ever been granted to it.
They strive to subjugate nations that have not yet yielded to them. Amidst this, countries like Iran, Russia, and China have stood firm against this trend and advocate for a multipolar world.
As we well remember, the invasion of Iraq was launched based on claims regarding the existence of weapons of mass destruction—and even a “test tube”—claims that were later revealed to be baseless. It was on the basis of that very narrative that a decision was made which led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people.
Subsequently, other crises emerged in Syria, followed by ongoing conflicts across the region and between various nations; throughout this, the role of foreign powers—particularly the United States—in many of these developments is undeniable.
In such circumstances, Iran—with its history spanning millennia—has consistently stood as a bastion of independence and defiance against foreign domination. Iran will never yield. I addressed this point in my own book, though at the time of writing, I did not anticipate that events would unfold with such speed and intensity.
Donald Trump, too, has repeatedly adopted contradictory stances, and his statements often diverge sharply from reality. For many, this situation is neither acceptable nor credible.
On the other hand, some analysts suggest that U.S. foreign policy in certain areas is heavily influenced by Israel—and specifically by the stance of Benjamin Netanyahu, who has long emphasized the need to confront Iran.
In the view of many analysts, the events in Gaza and Lebanon have precipitated profound humanitarian crises. Yet, regarding Iran, the prevailing perception is that Iranian society will not yield to pressures and threats.
In this context, Iran has repeatedly declared that it will not allow itself to be treated like other countries. Within this framework, reference is also made to the role of General Qassem Soleimani, who emphasized the principle of “life for the people.”
Today’s global developments could lead to fundamental shifts in the global balance of power. Although some previously viewed the war in Ukraine as the focal point of these changes, many now believe that the epicenter of these developments lies in the West Asia region—and specifically in Iran.
Ultimately, these conflicts could reshape the global order. In this context, as an author, I view my country Russia’s approach toward Iran positively and consider it significant.
