The wave of brain drain in the Israeli regime has gained momentum.

PNN – Hebrew-language media are expressing concern about the increasing wave of brain drain and experts from Israel.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper announced in its Sunday issue that official Israeli institutions reported that in 2026, Israel witnessed a very worrying wave of brain drain, especially in the high-tech sector, in such a way that for the first time in the past decade, it witnessed a significant decrease in the number of experts in the research and development sector, while many Israeli companies (due to insecurity and…) have moved their activities outside (Occupied Palestine), and in the meantime, the issue of increasing requests from employees to transfer to offices outside (Occupied Palestine) has also increased in a worrying way.

Another part of the report states that, according to data from last March, only 62 percent of employees at Israeli high-tech private companies work in (Occupied Palestine), while the rest are employed in the United States.

More worrying, however, is that management and decision-making centers have begun to leave (Occupied Palestine): the number of senior employees in Israel has fallen by almost 9.6 percent, while their number in the United States has increased.

In other words, while most relocations to Israel were previously limited to marketing and sales staff, because customers are based there, they now also include managers and developers.

Meanwhile, the wave of corporate exodus from Israel continues, with Israeli high-tech companies continuing to move their R&D activities outside (the occupied Palestinian territories), particularly to Eastern Europe and the United States, according to official data.

The report also admitted that the number of R&D employees in Israel has fallen by almost 3,500, and their relative share of the total workforce in the industry has fallen from 51 percent to 49 percent – likely due to the introduction of artificial intelligence tools that simplify and accelerate development work.
