According to the results of a survey: American people’s concern about unrest in this country has increased

PNN – According to the Reuters/Ipsos poll, after the assassination attempt on the life of former US President Donald Trump, the concern of the American people about unrest in the country has increased, and they are also worried about the results of the 2024 US presidential election on November 5, political violence.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Reuters, in this 2-day online poll, 1,202 American adults from all over the country took part, of which 992 of the participants declared that they would participate in the 2024 US presidential election.

The results of this survey revealed that 43% of the participants will vote for Trump and 41% of them will vote for Joe Biden. And although these results indicate the relative superiority of the Republican Party candidate over the Democratic Party candidate, it showed that the assassination attempt on Trump’s life did not cause a major change in the feelings of American voters towards the former president of this country.

Trump was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania while giving a speech on immigration.

In this incident, Trump was injured and the assailant and one of the rally participants were killed. Also, two other people present in this gathering were also injured.

“I was hit by a bullet that pierced the top of my ear,” Trump said in a statement after being treated at the hospital.

US President Joe Biden also announced in a statement: There is no place for such violence in America. We must unite as a nation and condemn it.
