While there was a report earlier about the downing of a drone shot from Yemen, now the United States has announced that this drone attacked an American destroyer in the Red Sea.
“We are aware of an incident with the destroyer USS Thomas Hadner in which the ship successfully defended itself against a drone while transiting the Red Sea,” a US military spokesman said.
Earlier, Reuters, citing two American officials, reported that a naval ship of this country shot down a Yemeni drone over the Red Sea.
