America’s fear of the spread of conflicts in the region; Blinken went to the Middle East again

PNN – Amid fears that the war between Israel and Hamas will turn into a larger regional conflict, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken went to the Middle East for the fourth time after the start of the Al-Aqsa storm operation on October 7, 2023, with the aim of consulting with the authorities of some countries.

According to Pakistan News Network, citing Hill, US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller, speaking at a press conference, said that Blinken’s trip will include 2 stops in Europe: During the next week, the US Secretary of State will visit Turkey, Greece, Jordan, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, (the regime of) Israel, the West Bank, and Egypt to meet with his foreign counterparts and other officials in these countries.

The spokesperson of the US State Department pointed out that during this visit, Blinken will discuss with the heads of the aforementioned countries about immediate measures to increase humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, and added: Discussing the need to take necessary measures to prevent attacks by the Yemeni armed forces on ships in the Red Sea is one of the other goals that the US Secretary of State is pursuing in this trip.

Miller continued his speech by stating that Blinken hopes to discuss many areas of bilateral cooperation between Washington and Ankara during his trip to Turkey, including taking the final steps to complete the approval of Sweden’s accession to NATO by Turkey with the officials of this country: During his trip to Greece, Blinken will discuss with the country’s authorities about the support of Kiev and the protection of the country’s maritime navigation in the region.

The Zionist media reported earlier that the visit of American Foreign Minister Blinken to the occupied territories, which was supposed to take place on Thursday, has been postponed to next Monday.

Meanwhile, following the assassination of the martyr Saleh al-Arouri, the deputy head of the political office of the Hamas movement in the southern suburbs of Beirut, the Zionist authorities increased the alert level throughout the occupied Palestine.

Turkey’s Anatolia news agency also reported earlier, quoting an unnamed source, that Hamas has informed the mediators to stop any discussions about a ceasefire or prisoner exchange.

“Saleh al-Arouri” the vice president of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, was martyred in the attack of the Zionist regime on the outskirts of Beirut on Tuesday night.
