Ayatollah Khamenei:The scope of resistance will encompass the entire region; Syria will be liberated by Syrian youth.
This morning, in a meeting with thousands of people from all walks of life, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution “explained the different layers of the events in Syria, outlined the logic of Iran’s presence in this country, explained the future course of regional developments, and expressed the lessons and lessons of the Syrian cases,” emphasizing that these events are the product of an American-Zionist plan, and the scope of resistance will, by God’s grace and power, encompass the entire region by finding greater strength and motivation in the face of pressures and crimes.
Referring to the obvious role of a neighboring government in Syria’s events, Ayatollah Khamenei said: “Despite this, there are numerous indications that the conspirators, planners, and main command center are the United States and the Zionist regime.”
He called the behavior of the Zionists and Americans with the recent events in Syria one of these indications and added: If they were not the masterminds of the events in Syria, why did they not remain silent, unlike other countries, and practically interfere in the current events by bombing hundreds of infrastructure centers, airports, research centers, scientist training centers, and other places in Syria?
Referring to the official announcement of the United States to attack 75 points in Syria in the first day or two of the events, the Leader of the Revolution said: In addition to targeting hundreds of points, the Zionists also occupied Syrian lands and brought their tanks closer to Damascus, and the United States, which shows great sensitivity in much smaller border incidents in other countries, not only does not object but has also helped. Don’t these facts indicate their hand in the events in Syria?
Explaining another evidence of the US and Zionist regime’s interference in Syrian affairs, Ayatollah Khamenei said: “In the last days, some aid and facilities were supposed to be sent to the people of a region in Syria – especially Zainabiyah – but the Zionists blocked all land routes and American and Zionist planes made extensive flights, preventing this aid from being delivered by air. If they are not the ones in charge and are not fighting Syria by being behind a terrorist or armed group, why did they prevent the Syrian people from being helped?”
The Leader of the Revolution called the goals of the attackers who are seeking to seize Syrian lands from the north and south different and added: “In the meantime, America is seeking to consolidate its foothold, but time will show that neither of them will achieve their goals, and undoubtedly, the occupied areas of Syria will be liberated by the hands of the zealous Syrian youth.”
Describing the future developments in the region, he emphasized that America will be expelled from the region by the grace of God at the hands of the Resistance Front, and said: The elements of arrogance think that the Resistance Front has weakened after the fall of the Syrian government, which was pro-resistance, but they are deeply mistaken; because they fundamentally do not have a correct understanding of the Resistance and the Resistance Front.
Ayatollah Khamenei called the Resistance not a piece of hardware that can be broken and collapsed, but a faith, thought, school of belief, and a decision of the heart, and added: For this reason, the Resistance becomes stronger with pressure, and the motivation of its individuals and elements will become stronger and its scope will expand upon seeing the evils.
