The Biden administration is expected to announce $1.25 billion in military aid to Ukraine this week, the Associated Press reported, citing U.S. officials.
The package includes a significant amount of ammunition for NASAMS missile systems and the Hawk air defense system. It also includes 155- and 105-millimeter Stinger artillery shells.
The officials, who said an official announcement about the package was likely to be made on Monday, spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.
