China: The intercontinental ballistic missile was fired to test the weapon’s performance

PNN – Following the widespread international coverage of Beijing’s launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile, China’s Ministry of Defense announced that the move was to test the weapon’s performance.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoted by AFP, Zhang Xiaogang, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of China, said this Thursday: The ICBM was launched to test our weapons and training performance. This is a legitimate and common mechanism for military training.

Zhang said at a press conference in Beijing: China’s nuclear policy is very stable, consistent and predictable. We strongly follow a nuclear policy of no first use of nuclear weapons and a self-defense nuclear strategy.
