Death sentence for the wife of the former leader of ISIS’
According to Al-Frat News, Al-Karkh Criminal Court issued the death sentence of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s wife for the crime of collaborating with ISIS and detaining Yazidi women in her home.
The Information Center of the Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq announced in a statement that this terrorist arrested Yazidi women in his home and then the ISIS terrorist organization kidnapped them in the Sinjar area in the west of Nineveh province.
According to this statement, the death sentence of al-Baghdadi’s wife was issued citing the second, third and fourth articles of the 2005 Anti-Terrorism Law and the seventh article of the 2021 Surviving Yazidi Women Law.
According to this statement, al-Baghdadi’s wife has been tried on charges of “collaborating with ISIS, forcibly keeping Yazidi women in her home and helping ISIS terrorists to transfer these women from Sinjar.”
Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi died in October 2019 in Idlib province, located in the northwest of Syria.
