Exposing Israeli aid to the MKO terrorist group in Albania

PNN – A Hebrew media outlet has revealed the large amount of aid provided by the Zionist regime to the terrorist group of the MKO in Albania.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Yisrael Hayom newspaper revealed in a report on this matter that the Israeli cyber-department has mobilized a large amount of capacity to help Albania (the location and cyber-activity of the MKO terrorist group).

Without mentioning the role of the MKO terrorist group in Albania, this Hebrew-language media outlet claimed that this cyber-aid is being provided to the Albanian government.

In part, the report states: Amid Israel’s multi-front conflict with Tehran, dozens of Israeli cyber-security companies recently gathered in Tirana, the Albanian capital. The purpose: an extraordinary strategic conference aimed at helping the Republic of Albania defend itself against Iranian cyber-attacks—though the report makes no mention of why this cyber-confrontation with a country like Albania is taking place.

However, part of the report claims that for Albania, confrontation with Iran is nothing new. In the summer of 2022, Iranian hackers paralyzed the country’s government systems, which provided 95 percent of digital public services to citizens. Albania’s response was harsh and unprecedented: it severed diplomatic relations with Iran and expelled the ambassador. These tensions were caused, among other things, by Albania’s granting of asylum to thousands of Iranian opposition activists (the country has become a major base for the terrorist group MEK).

Tensions between Iran and Albania continue to this day, and recently, the Albanian parliament’s systems were also targeted.

Meanwhile, the Albania-Israel Cyber security Summit held at the MAC Hotel in Tirana, attracted local media attention. Albania’s strategic interest in the event was evident in the unprecedented presence of high-ranking government and business figures, including Prime Minister Edi Rama.

On the Israeli side, a delegation of 14 leading cyber-security companies – including Israel Aerospace Industries, Cognit, XM Cyber and Multicool – presented solutions to protect critical infrastructure, manage cyber-incidents in real time, and prevent data leaks.
