Former CIA chief: Israel must act against Hamas with all its might

PNN – “David Petraeus”, former head of the CIA, in view of the continuation of the Zionist regime’s war against Gaza and the inability to stand against the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), in a statement, recommended the strategy of an all-out confrontation with all forces to this regime.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the website of the Zionist media “Times of Israel” published this article and wrote: David Petraeus, who was the commander of American forces and multinational forces in Iraq between 2007 and 2008 and later became the head of the CIA, with this war in mind, says that in order to prevent Hamas from returning to power in Gaza, Israel must adopt an all-out confrontation approach.

Therefore, in his report in an interview with this Zionist online newspaper, he claimed: This was inevitable because Hamas is irreconcilable.

He went on to claim, without referring to the rape and killing of Palestinian women and children by the Zionists: This is a very basic idea, and some people argue about it, but I don’t think this is debatable, because I think they are like al-Qaeda or ISIS, as we destroyed the core of al-Qaeda and gave the Iraqi security forces and the Iraqi Forces helped the Syrian Democratic Forces to destroy ISIS, they (Hamas) must also be destroyed.

In the continuation of this interview, the former head of the CIA said: When you destroy Hamas as a military organization, then there will be remnants that, however you want to describe it, there will still be terrorists, rebels and extremists.

Times of Israel wrote: To defeat an insurgency, Petraeus advocates an approach called counterinsurgency, a strategy in which a “population-centric” rather than an “enemy-centric” strategy focuses on appealing to the public to separate them from the insurgents.

Zionist media: Hamas has succeeded in realizing its political goals

While Petraeus talks about the strategy and actions after defeating the Islamic resistance group in Gaza in an interview with The Times of Israel, “Yediot Aharnot” another Zionist newspaper by examining the way the Zionist regime works in the war against Gaza and the stand of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), acknowledged that this movement has been successful in realizing its political goals.

This Zionist newspaper warned that without a political horizon, we will lose from the Hamas movement, adding: Hamas is very close to its goal of eliminating any chance of normalizing relations between Saudi Arabia and Tel Aviv or Arab countries in the future.

Yediot Aharnot emphasized: Hamas has achieved some of its political goals in the Gaza Strip, but Israel has not even come close to these goals.

On October 7, 2023, the Palestinian resistance groups launched the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation from Gaza against the positions of the Israeli regime, and finally, on November 24, 2023, a four-day temporary ceasefire was established between Israel and Hamas, or the pause for the exchange of prisoners between Hamas and Israel.

This pause in the war continued for seven days and finally on the morning of Friday, December 10, 2023, the temporary ceasefire ended and the Israeli regime resumed attacks on Gaza. In order to retaliate for the surprise attacks of the Al-Aqsa storm and to compensate for its failure and stop the resistance operations, this regime has closed all the crossings of the Gaza Strip and is bombarding this area.
