In an interview with Al Jazeera; Araghchi: We do not want war but are ready for any scenario.
“Abbas Araghchi”, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country, in an interview with Al-Jazeera, expressed the positions of our country regarding the developments in the region.
In this conversation, Araghchi emphasized that although Iran is not looking for war and escalation of tension in the region, it is ready for any scenario from its enemies.
Our country’s foreign minister said: Israelis can test our will. We will see what the attack will look like, and based on that we will determine the nature of our response, which we will carefully consider.
Araghchi continued: “Israel” is looking for an all-out war and dragging other countries into this war. Iran is not the only country that does not want a massive war, but everyone is aware of the disastrous nature of this war.
He added: The resistance can react to the “Israeli” regime. Netanyahu has not achieved the goal of his war in Gaza, which is to destroy Hamas, and he will face the same situation in Lebanon.
Araghchi said: Our support (to the resistance) will not be limited to political and diplomatic support and we will provide whatever is necessary for them. We will never stop supporting the resistance. I announced in Beirut that Iran will never leave behind the resistance.
He added: My meetings in Beirut were serious and good and there was no tension during them. We will support the decisions of the Lebanese government and the resistance.
Araghchi said: We held consultations on how to establish a ceasefire and stop crimes, killings, and destruction. The big countries of the region can play a role in the escalation of tension. The role of Saudi Arabia is prominent in the region, and Qatar is also an influential country. We hold consultations with these two countries regarding the cessation of war.
He added: Diplomatic channels are open with America through other countries and we exchange opinions indirectly. The world’s attention to the events in Lebanon and Gaza is the most important result of these communications. There is an agreement on the necessity of finding a diplomatic solution to this crisis.
