PNN – The Libyan mufti said on Friday night that Muslims have lost one of the symbols of jihad and sacrifice, following the cowardly assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the late head of the political office of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Palestinian media, Sheikh Sadiq al-Ghariani, the Grand Mufti of Libya, stressed that today is a day of mourning because Muslims have lost one of the symbols of jihad and sacrifice.
Sheikh Al-Gharyani said that we offer our condolences to the leaders of Hamas and all the free people of the world for the martyrdom of Haniyeh.
Despite the scorching heat of Doha, thousands of Qatari people participated in the funeral ceremony of Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political office of Hamas.
