Calling Russia’s victory over Ukraine unacceptable, the French president emphasized the need for European countries to continue supporting Kyiv.
French President Emmanuel Macron announced that Russia’s victory in Ukraine is unacceptable for Europe and that European countries should be ready to support this country “to the extent necessary”.
During his trip to Sweden, Macron emphasized that the support of Ukraine from the European countries should be continued even if the United States does not participate. In this regard, he emphasized the many decisions he has taken to increase the defense production of his country to support Ukraine.
However, according to the President of France, more work should be done to support Ukraine. In this regard, Macron stated: We must be ready to act, defend and support Ukraine. Whatever happens, whatever America’s decision is, we must accept the fact that Ukraine is part of the European continent.
Macron also said: All of us can’t see Russia as the winner of this war, because if Russia wins, there will be no more security framework and structure in our continent. To realize this, several decisions must be made at the national and European Union level.
Previously, “Anthony Blinken”, the US Secretary of State, said that the situation caused by the suspension of US aid to Ukraine had a special effect on the way this country fought against Russia. According to some published reports, key aides of the Biden administration have also warned the US Congress during a closed-door meeting that without approving military aid to Ukraine, significant problems may arise for this country.
“Vladimir Zelensky” had previously stated that without the support of the United States, Europe alone could not support Kyiv financially or militarily in the war with Russia.
