PNN – The Prime Minister of the Government of Lebanon Najib Mikati announced diplomatic calls to stop the threats of the Zionist regime against this country.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoted by the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA), Najib Mikati, the Prime Minister of the country’s government, said that diplomatic contacts are underway in several directions to stop the Israeli regime’s threats against Lebanon and to reach an agreement to establish a ceasefire in Gaza.
He emphasized that the Lebanese government’s plan to establish long-term stability in southern Lebanon, which was announced last week, includes the basic principles for solving this issue, including reducing tensions in order to avoid destructive violence.
Mikati also emphasized the necessity of playing a “decisive” and “urgent” role of the international community to reduce tensions and curb Israel’s continuous aggression against Lebanon.

The Prime Minister of Lebanon also said: The clear message that is emphasized in all diplomatic meetings and contacts is the implementation of Security Council Resolution 1701 as the principle and basis of guaranteeing stability and security in southern Lebanon.
He added that Lebanon, in cooperation with the relevant countries, is following up on the extension of the mission of the United Nations Peacekeeping Forces in South Lebanon (UNIFIL) and cooperation between the army and the UNIFIL forces is important at this stage.
On the other hand, the Zionist news site “Walla” wrote in a report quoting army officers of the occupying regime in the north of the occupied territories: The threat of Hezbollah’s ground attack on Israel’s northern borders with Lebanon is more serious than ever.
Following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political office of Hamas, and Fawad Shekar, one of the prominent commanders of Hezbollah in Lebanon, the authorities and senior officials of the resistance axis announced that they will take revenge for the blood of these martyrs from the Zionist regime.
At the same time, the Zionist regime’s fear, panic, and mental confusion about Iran’s sure response to the assassination of Martyr Haniyeh and the reaction of the Islamic resistance of Lebanon to the assassination of Martyr Shakar are increasing day by day.
Zionist sources have announced that after the assassination of these two martyrs, the Zionists are waiting for a response to this assassination operation.
