Taliban announced changes in its cabinet

PNN – The spokesman of the acting government of Afghanistan announced the implementation of extensive changes in the Taliban cabinet, especially in the fields of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum and the Central Bank.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network from TOLOnews news agency, Zabihullah Mujahid announced: Mullah Hebatullah, the leader of the Taliban, dismissed Shahabuddin Delawar, the Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, in a decree.

Shahabuddin Delawar is accused of corruption and during his ministry, millions of dollars were embezzled from mining revenues, especially from Samangan coal.

According to Mullah Hebatullah’s decree, Hedayatullah Badri, the head of the Central Bank of Afghanistan, has been appointed as the head of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, and Shahabuddin Delawar has been appointed as the head of the Red Crescent Society.

The leader of the Taliban also appointed Nur Ahmad Agha, the deputy of the Central Bank of Afghanistan, as the head of this bank.

Mujahid added: Nouruddin Torabi, the deputy of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, has also been appointed as the head of the country’s disaster management department.

He continued: Matiul Haq Khalis, the head of the Red Crescent Society, was also appointed as the head of Afghanistan’s Environmental Protection Department.

Earlier, Amrullah Saleh, the former vice president of Afghanistan, announced that according to the leaked documents from the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of the caretaker government, about 25 million dollars have been embezzled from the revenues of this ministry, especially the Samangan coal mine.

He added: Shahabuddin Delavar, the head of this ministry, is involved in corruption.
