Tel Aviv has accelerated settlement construction in Jerusalem and the West Bank

PNN – A Palestinian expert announced the acceleration of the dangerous movements of the Zionist regime in Jerusalem and the West Bank in the field of settlement construction.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoted by Shahab news agency, “Khalil al-Tafkaji” said that the Israeli occupiers continue to implement their settlement policies in the West Bank and the city of Quds.

He added: The occupiers seek to implement their expansionist projects to create new settlements through confiscation of Palestinian lands and coercive measures.

This Palestinian expert pointed to the apartheid actions of the Zionists in the Al-Aghwar areas, as well as reducing the number of Palestinians in these areas and depriving the Palestinian Authority of the Palestinian Authority in areas (B), which is a testimony to Israel’s new steps to strengthen the settlement project.

Al-Tafkaji said: Quds city is also witnessing the development of settlements and the creation of new settlements, especially in its southern areas, in line with the Great Quds plan according to the Israeli concept through the creation of infrastructure, including tunnels and bridges.

He continued: The occupiers are currently seeking to intertwine and connect East and West Jerusalem by creating centers in East Jerusalem and also developing infrastructure such as railways. The creation of highways and tunnels and the creation of new settlements at the same time.

This expert stated: The occupiers are seeking to take measures to make Jerusalem their capital and they are also benefiting from domestic and international developments. The occupiers have intensified the process of implementing their projects.

At the end, Al-Tafkaji mentioned the construction of settlements in Jerusalem, along with the acceleration of the destruction of houses and the expulsion of their residents in Palestinian areas such as Selwan, Ras al-Moud, and Beit Safafa, as well as the separation of Palestinian neighborhoods through the creation of settlements.

This news is being published while the Director of the Documents Department of the Resistance Committee against the Barrier Wall and Settlements of the Zionist regime recently warned about the dangerousness of the finance minister’s statements about the West Bank.

“Amir Daud” warned about the dangerousness of the statements of “Bazalel Smotrich” the Minister of Finance of the Zionist regime regarding the issue of erasing the green line and added: This line, known as the armistice line, separates the lands of 1967 and the lands of 1948. For many years, Israel has sought to erase the green line by implementing plans, including the “Sharon” plan, known as the “Seven Star” plan, through the construction of settlements on the western borders of the West Bank in order to connect these areas with other areas.

Referring to the annexation and expansionist plan of the Zionist regime, Amir Daoud did not consider it limited to the 48 territories, but also spoke about the implementation of these plans in the 67 territories and that this regime seeks to swallow 570 kilometers of Palestinian lands.

Referring to Smotrich’s statement about erasing the green line, he continued: The occupying regime has been looking for this plan for years, but now it has announced it publicly.

Smotrich, the Minister of Finance from the extreme right wing of the Israeli regime, recently announced that the promotion of agricultural projects in the West Bank is a strategic goal to eliminate the Green Line, as a symbol of the 1967 borders.

During his visit to one of the settlement bases, he said: West Bank farms are a strategic goal to preserve land and prevent its capture.

This Zionist minister emphasized that the agricultural plans are a way to “prevent the expansion of illegal Palestinian control over the lands.”
