The foreign minister of the transitional government of Syria visited the UAE

PNN – The foreign minister of the transitional government of Syria went to the UAE on the third destination of his regional trip.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoted by the official Syrian news agency (SANA), the foreign minister of the transitional government of Syria, Asad Hassan Al-Shibani, traveled to this country to talk with the UAE authorities.

The Minister of Defense and the Head of the Intelligence Organization of the Syrian Transitional Government also accompany Al-Shibani in this trip.

Al-Shibani had previously traveled to Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

The foreign minister of the transitional government of Syria had entered Doha, the capital of Qatar, on an official visit on Sunday.

Recently, in his first foreign trip, he traveled to Saudi Arabia at the head of a delegation and met and talked with Saudi officials, including Khaled bin Salman, the Minister of Defense of this country.

In this meeting, the new Minister of Defense, Marhaf Abu Qasra, and Anas Khattab, the head of the General Intelligence Organization of Syria, were also present.

Previously, the Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed news site reported in a report titled “Esad Al-Shaibani’s Arabian periodic trip; The rulers of Damascus are seeking to dispel fear and guarantee support”, he had pointed to the intention of the foreign minister of the transitional government of Syria to visit Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan after he made his first trip to Saudi Arabia.

This media wrote: Arab countries have shown favor to the new rulers, so that Arab diplomatic and security delegations have traveled to Damascus and aid from Arab countries, especially Qatar and Saudi Arabia, has been sent to Syria to alleviate the economic and livelihood problems of Syria.

The source continued: An aid plane from Egypt arrived in Damascus, and informed Iraqi sources denied the resumption of Iraq’s oil exports to Syria on Friday, saying that it is likely that the Iraqi government will supply oil to Syria in the coming days in line with Arab support for the new rulers.

Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed added: It seems that the diplomatic activity of the new rulers in Damascus towards the Arab countries is in line with several goals, especially in the shadow of the Arab countries’ concern about grabbing a certain spectrum on the new Syrian political process.

In the continuation of Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed report, it is stated: The new rulers of Syria are seeking the support of Arab countries in regional and international circles so that the world community recognizes them. Also, they are looking for extensive Arab participation in order to quickly move projects and to provide the ground for the return of millions of Syrian refugees, especially from neighboring countries including Jordan Lebanon and Egypt.

Ahmed al-Qurabi, a political analyst, told Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed: Qatar is the second country in the world to reopen its embassy in Damascus and has a strong presence in Syria since the fall of the Assad regime. Qatar is the first country to establish an air bridge to help Syria. Al-Shibani’s trip to the UAE and Jordan is also aimed at disarming security.

Al-Qurabi continued: This is a positive signal from the new rulers in Damascus to turn to the Arab world. The UAE feels threatened by political Islam, and Al-Shibani’s trip is aimed at reducing the concerns of Arab countries.
