The security adviser of the new American government: Trump’s policy towards Iran will be determined in February

PNN – The National Security Advisor of the White House in the second administration of Donald Trump said in a conversation with CBS that the policy of the Republican administration towards Iran will be determined in February.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Mike Waltz, in response to a question about the position of the US president-elect towards Iran and the possibility of his support for the possible option of an attack by the Zionist regime on Iran’s nuclear facilities, which requires the country’s weapons and support, claimed: Iran is in a defensive position due to the management of Netanyahu and the Israelis.

Referring to the Zionist regime’s attacks on Hamas and Hezbollah, as well as the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government, he claimed: The time has come to make a decision about Iran. We will make this decision within the next month.

These statements of Mike Waltz have been raised while the Bloomberg economic network website recently quoted informed sources as claiming that there is a general consensus among Trump’s key advisers to revive the full maximum pressure strategy against Iran. This strategy will start in February with a large sanctions package and target the main players in Iran’s oil industry.

In this interview, Waltz also expressed optimism about the Trump administration’s ability to broker an agreement to normalize relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia as part of the “Abraham Accords”.
