Trump’s warning to Putin: End the war in Ukraine; it’s time to agree

PNN – Donald Trump, the new president of the United States, threatened Russian President Vladimir Putin with tariffs and sanctions if he does not end the war in Ukraine soon.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the new US President Donald Trump threatened Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday local time if he doesn’t end the war in Ukraine soon, he will impose more tariffs and sanctions.

The new American president said to his Russian counterpart: It’s time to reach an agreement.

Trump wrote on his social network known as Truth Social: I am not looking to harm Russia and I love the Russian people and I have always had a very good relationship with Russian President Putin and this has been despite the radical left in Russia.

The US President said: We should never forget that Russia helped us win the Second World War and almost 60,000 people lost their lives in the process.

He added: I intend to do a very big favor to Putin and Russia, whose economy is going bankrupt. Find a solution now and stop this ridiculous war, it will only get worse.

Trump then threatened: If an agreement is not reached soon, I will have no choice but to impose high levels of taxes, tariffs and sanctions on any goods sold by Russia to the United States and other countries.

The American president continued: Let’s end this war that would never have started if I were the president! We can do it the easy way or the hard way, and the easy way is always better.

Trump then said: The time for a deal (agreement) has come. No other life should be destroyed.

Speaking from the White House on Tuesday night, the new American president answered the question that if Russian President Vladimir Putin does not come to the negotiating table, will he impose more sanctions against Russia? Said: “It seems likely.”

He added: We are talking to President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. We will talk to President Putin soon and we will see how everything goes.” It goes on.”

Trump added: Russia would never enter Ukraine. I understand Putin well. Russia’s entry into Ukraine would never have happened. With this, Putin wanted to disrespect Biden. His work is very easy to understand. Putin sometimes does not respect people, he is a smart person. He understands and wanted to keep Biden’s respect.

The US president also said he would review whether the US would send more weapons to Ukraine.

On February 21, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin recognized the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics in the Donbass region, criticizing the West for ignoring Moscow’s security concerns.

Three days later, Putin launched a military operation he called “special operations” against Ukraine, turning the tense Moscow-Kiev relationship into a military confrontation, and the war is still ongoing.
