PNN – Bloomberg reported that the U.S. naval blockade against Iran has cost Washington over $7.1 billion, and that U.S. military stockpiles and munitions are in a concerning state.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Al-Mayadeen; Bloomberg revealed in an analysis that U.S. naval operations to enforce a blockade against Iran have so far cost the U.S. Treasury more than $7.1 billion.
According to a Bloomberg analysis, the naval blockade against Iran—which began on July 14—has alone incurred approximately $2 billion in vessel operating costs.
Bloomberg also revealed alarming figures regarding the depletion of U.S. military stockpiles and munitions, highlighting that by June 2025, Washington will likely have utilized up to two-thirds of its interceptor missile inventory.
According to an analysis by this American media outlet, the naval blockade against Iran has cost the United States $32.5 million daily and approximately $1 billion monthly.
