PNN – The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, pointing out that a five-year strategic business cooperation plan has been signed between Tehran and Islamabad, emphasized that this year has been an important year in our relations with Iran.
According to Pakistan News Network from the news website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, the spokesperson of the ministry, said: This year was an important year in our relations with Iran.
Zahra Baloch announced the bilateral agreement to increase bilateral economic consultations and clarified that the two countries opened two projects “Bazarche Marzi Pisin” and “Polan-Gabad 220 KV Power Transmission Line” in June of this year.
He also acknowledged that a five-year cooperation program was signed between Tehran and Islamabad, which is expected to reach 5 billion dollars.

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch acknowledged that Pakistan has repeatedly expressed its desire for a peaceful, prosperous, stable and connected Afghanistan, so that this country emerges as a crossroads of trade and energy for the region.
He added: “In relation to the situation in Afghanistan, Islamabad shared meetings and negotiations to strengthen peace in this country as a supporter of regional efforts. Islamabad is still committed to negotiating and interacting with the Taliban.”
These statements were made while the Afghan Taliban group has repeatedly emphasized on negotiations to resolve misunderstandings with Pakistan.
It should be noted that the government of Islamabad believes that it has been targeted by Pakistani Taliban many times in Afghanistan, but the authorities in Kabul always deny this.
“Mohsen Bakhtiar”, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Beijing, in a meeting with the assistant minister of foreign affairs of China, emphasized the security cooperation between Tehran, Islamabad and Beijing.
