18 Atomic Energy Commission officials taken hostage in Pakistan.
Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) released a video stating that it had captured 18 officials of the Atomic Energy Commission of Pakistan on the Lakki-Mianwali road in the Lakki Marwat area of Bannu city and taken them to a safe place.
In the video, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan called on the Pakistani government to meet its demands in exchange for the release of these individuals.
The group also warned that if any military action is taken to free the detainees, the government will be responsible for any damage or injury.
The video emphasized that no harm will be done to the Atomic Energy Commission officials and that they are in safe conditions.
The TTP has set specific conditions for the release of the hostages.
