Axios: The CIA chief proposed a 28-day ceasefire in Gaza

PNN – The American Axios website announced in a report that William Burns, the head of the American intelligence agency (CIA), presented a new proposal to establish a 28-day ceasefire in Gaza in a meeting with his Qatari and Israeli counterparts in Doha.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, according to the proposal of the head of the American Intelligence Organization (CIA), with the beginning of a 28-day temporary ceasefire, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) will release eight prisoners of the Zionist regime, and the Zionist regime will also release dozens of Palestinian prisoners.

According to Axios, this agreement is important because it can break the two-month deadlock in the ceasefire negotiations, pave the way for negotiations on a more comprehensive agreement, improve humanitarian conditions in Gaza, and lead to the release of some Hamas prisoners.

The American Axios website added: But this proposal by Burns does not fulfill the main demand of Hamas, which is the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip.

This American media wrote: It is unlikely that any agreement will be reached before the US presidential election on November 5th.

Zionist news sources reported on Monday that the head of the Mossad spy agency, which is now in Qatar, has extended his trip.

Gallant: We have to make “painful concessions” for the release of prisoners

Zionist newspaper Ha’aretz reported that “David Barnia” the head of Mossad had a long meeting in Qatar last night and discussed the framework of a possible prisoner exchange agreement.

This Zionist media wrote that after the meeting, Barnia has decided to stay in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

News sources also announced that the relevant parties are considering the possibility of resuming negotiations and meeting of technical teams in the coming days.

Mossad Chief David Barnia, CIA chief William Burns, and Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad bin Abdul Rahman met last night for what was called the new round of ceasefire talks in Doha.

The Wall Street Journal also reported that the meeting was a Chinese introduction to the establishment of a larger meeting in the coming days and talks on a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon.

This news is published while the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced last Sunday that the condition of the ceasefire is the withdrawal of the Zionist regime from the Gaza Strip.

According to an informed source, “the purpose of these negotiations is to reach a new short-term ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and release some Zionist prisoners in Gaza in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners.”

Early in the day (Sunday), the media of the Zionist regime reported on the visit of Mossad chief “Barnia” to Qatar, but they emphasized that the negotiations regarding the agreement on the release of the Zionist prisoners in Gaza will not come to a conclusion.

Channel 12 of the Zionist regime quoted an official of the negotiating team of this regime as saying that any deal requires an end to the war in the Gaza Strip.
