PNN – The British Defense Minister said that the country is considering the plan to send troops to the Kiev front, in a situation where US President-elect Donald Trump has warned about the possibility of cutting off Washington’s aid to Ukraine.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, John Haley, who has traveled to Ukraine to discuss the provision of more defense aid, said in an interview with The Times that based on the London plan, Ukrainian soldiers will be trained in this country. He added: “We need to make it easier for Ukrainians to access (education), we need to work with Ukrainians to mobilize more forces.”
The British Defense Secretary added: “We will act wherever we can to respond to what the Ukrainians need. They are the ones who fight. Britain should help Ukraine motivate and move more troops.”

Currently, Ukrainian forces are being trained on British soil. According to reports, a British army medical team is also stationed in Ukraine.
Britain and NATO member countries have not sent military forces to the Kiev front due to the fear of direct conflict with Russia. However, the British defense minister said that he had discussed plans to strengthen the country’s soldiers in a meeting with Ukrainian officials. In an interview with the BBC, he did not provide more details in this regard and said: The details of our joint plan in Ukraine should remain out of the reach of the Russian president.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer (Wednesday) in a phone call with Trump “emphasized the need to stand by Ukraine against Russia’s aggression and ensure that Ukraine is in the strongest possible situation.”
It should be noted that the war in Ukraine started due to the West’s inattention to Moscow’s security concerns regarding the expansion of the borders of the NATO military alliance (North Atlantic Treaty Organization). Moscow attacked Ukraine after ignoring its security concerns from the West, especially the United States.
During this time, the NATO member countries, by abandoning the diplomatic option to establish peace, continued this war-mongering with huge military support from Kiev, and by equipping Ukraine with more advanced and heavier military weapons, they are clearly following the Kremlin’s provocation policy.
