PNN – Protesting Haredim (religious Zionists) attacked and injured a Zionist soldier upon spotting him.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; the newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported on its website that Haredim—who had attacked a prison earlier—assaulted the Israeli soldier and severely beat him after seeing him.
The Zionist soldier stated that dozens of Haredim attacked and beat him while he was out walking his dog.
He characterized the attack as being driven by sectarian motives and described the escalation of this phenomenon as a stain on Israel.
It is worth noting that Hebrew-language media outlets publish daily reports on clashes between Zionists stemming from religious differences; these confrontations have intensified in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv over the past few weeks.
