PNN – Pointing to the remarkable growth of Ukraine’s drone capabilities, the former CIA director noted that Ukraine’s annual production is several times that of the United States and described drones as a key tool of modern warfare.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; David Petraeus, the former CIA director, has stated that Ukraine currently employs over 10,000 drones daily. Describing this figure as “astonishing,” he noted that Ukraine produced 3.5 million drones last year, whereas U.S. production stood at only 300,000 units.
Pointing to the drone capabilities of Iran, Lebanon, Yemen, and Ukraine, various experts have identified drone technology as a new tool of asymmetric warfare. Analysts view drones as a cost-effective and efficient alternative for countering the expensive hardware of the world’s major militaries—a development that has altered nations’ military calculations.
