PNN – A Hebrew-language media outlet has reported on the disappearance of several American nuclear scientists.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Walla News reported that new police documents have identified a common—yet concerning—link regarding the deaths of at least four American nuclear scientists.

All four individuals had worked at classified U.S. research facilities.

According to this Hebrew-language media outlet, the key to the mystery surrounding these missing scientists lies in the involvement of a firearm in four enigmatic cases.

For months, social media users, members of Congress, and the media have been attempting to establish a link between a series of suspicious deaths and disappearances involving personnel connected to sensitive U.S. research facilities.

Now, newly disclosed police documents have revealed a recurring detail across all four cases: a firearm was involved in every instance—whether purchased shortly before the individual vanished, taken from their home, or found beside their body.

A case now adding a new dimension to this saga is the disappearance of 78-year-old Anthony (Tony) Chavez, a former employee of the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico.

Chavez left his home on May 4, 2025, and has not been seen since. According to reports based on investigative records, he had purchased a 9mm pistol for self-defense shortly before he vanished, but he disappeared just before he could go to the store to pick it up.

According to these documents, Chavez was in a very positive state of mind when he purchased the weapon; he showed no signs of suicidal intent and expressed no immediate fear or concern for his safety. A search of his home revealed his wallet, car keys, cigarettes, and his usual backpack.

Those close to Chavez have described his disappearance as highly unusual, noting that he was a healthy, fully alert, and energetic individual.

However, the weapon—which was never actually collected—is just one aspect of this new development in the case.

Another part of the report states that in April, the White House announced the FBI was investigating potential links regarding the deaths and disappearances of more than ten individuals associated with nuclear research institutions, the aerospace industry, and the military establishment.

U.S. President Donald Trump described the matter as “very serious” and promised to provide an update on the investigation by mid-May. However, no public information has been released since then indicating a definitive connection between these cases.
