Iran’s missile threat is the focus of Tel Aviv’s concern

PNN – The Zionist media emphasized in a report that Tel Aviv’s main concern about Iran is not its nuclear program, but rather the rapid growth of missile power and the increase in the production of ballistic missiles.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; The Jerusalem Post newspaper wrote in a report by military and security analyst Yona Jeremy Bob that the threat of Iranian ballistic missiles to the Zionist regime is considered more important and dangerous than the nuclear issue.

The report was published in response to a report by the Washington Post, which quoted CIA officials as saying that Iran’s missile capabilities had been significantly reduced.

The Jerusalem Post analyst wrote that the main reason for the war against Iran was the reduction in Tehran’s ability to launch ballistic missiles, not just its nuclear program.

The report states that Eyal Zamir, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, had warned senior US military officials before the joint decisions between Tel Aviv and Washington in February that Iran was rapidly increasing its missile capabilities.

According to the report, Iran was producing between 200 and 300 new ballistic missiles per month at that time and had managed to replace a large part of its damaged missiles and launch pads within eight months.

According to the Jerusalem Post, Israeli military estimates indicated that if the current trend continues, the number of Iranian missiles could reach more than 6,000 within a year; a problem that, from Tel Aviv’s perspective, could pose a crisis for the Israeli defense systems.

The report also states that the recent war was primarily aimed at preventing Iran from reaching a level of missile power that would not pose what it calls an “existential threat” to the Israeli regime.

The newspaper further claimed that the attacks against Iran have mainly focused on missile infrastructure, with nuclear facilities constituting only a limited share of the targets.

Another part of the report states that assessments of the extent of damage to Iran’s missile capabilities vary and that there are no definitive statistics in this regard, especially since a significant portion of Iran’s missile facilities are located in underground facilities.

The Zionist media outlet also acknowledged that Iran has been able to reconstruct and reactivate some of the damaged missile sites with remarkable speed.
