Israeli Army’s account of the “Military Spying Scandal for Iran in the War”

Spying

PNN – The Israeli army was shocked and deeply regretted the story of its soldiers spying for Iran.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, following the increase in reports from Hebrew sources about settlers and Zionist soldiers spying for Iran, Israeli media are reporting a dangerous security scandal in which the Iranian intelligence service has recruited active Air Force soldiers and they have revealed Israel’s strategic coordinates and locations for small sums of money.

Israeli military spy scandal for Iran in war

According to Al Jazeera, the revelation of Israeli military spying working for Iran continues to be at the top of Israeli news.

The Israeli channel “i24 News” reported that a “major espionage scandal” has shaken the Israeli military and political establishment after it emerged that Iran had managed to employ active-duty soldiers within the Israeli army to transmit highly sensitive security information. Observers see this as a worrying development that goes beyond the recruitment of “naive civilians.”

Doron Kedoush, a military correspondent for the Israeli Army Radio, also expressed: What we see in the recent cases of espionage scandals in favor of Iran, which is very worrying, means an increase in the self-involvement of the Israeli army forces.

He explained: The Iranians are now managing to employ active-duty soldiers of the Israeli army, unlike in the past, when most often only naive civilians on the streets were caught in the trap of espionage.

In detailing the scandal, the aforementioned Zionist military journalist explained: The defendants in this case were military students at the Air Force Technical School, which is a military base by all standards. These forces took photographs of locations within the base itself, in addition to documenting and sending photographs of the Savidor Middle train station in Tel Aviv and a building in Haifa, both of which were targeted by Iranian missiles in the recent conflict.

The Israeli military’s strange initiative in spying for Iran

According to this report, the investigation showed that one of the spy soldiers had, on his own initiative, offered to provide the Iranians with photos and precise coordinates of F-16 fighter jets for 15,000 shekels (about 5,000 dollars), but the Iranian agent rejected this offer and directed him towards a mission that he considered more vital, telling him: “Forget the F-16, give me the locations of the Iron Dome systems,” offering a reward of 5,000 shekels for each identified location.

The Israeli military correspondent noted that the operation was managed through the Telegram app, a platform that Iranians mainly try to operate through.

He pointed to a “sad” phenomenon for the Israeli security establishment in which Israelis – including military personnel recently disgraced for espionage – themselves seek channels of communication with Iranian parties to obtain “easy money.”

Israeli soldiers sell Israel’s security for a few hundred dollars

Kadosh expressed shock that the soldiers agreed to “financial deals for Israel’s security” for “very small” sums, with one Israeli soldier receiving only $5,500 for his entire service, while others received between $800 and $1,000.

He added: There is one last point that I find most shocking, because it has surprised me in all the recent cases, and that is the small amount of money that the Iranians are paying, and the military personnel who spied for Iran were not even able to pocket significant money.

Citing Shin Bet and police estimates, Kedoush said that the soldiers believed their work would not be exposed and thought the matter would go smoothly, with some seeing it as “easy money” or a means to improve their income.

He added: What is truly shocking is the existence of military personnel who, despite the passage of two and a half years since the events of October 7 and the recent direct clashes with Tehran, are ready to cooperate with Iran, which is a “serious violation of Israeli security” and a betrayal of the military system.
