Netanyahu Lacks Parliamentary Majority: Cabinet Should Not Be Formed with Arab Parties

Parliamentary Majority

PNN – Amid the ongoing deadlock in the occupied territories following the Knesset elections, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime—despite lacking a parliamentary majority—has asserted that a cabinet should not be formed with the participation of Arab parties.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Al Jazeera, Benjamin Netanyahu—the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime—has claimed that a cabinet should not be formed that includes Arab lists, even though he himself does not hold a majority of seats.

This comes as the final results of the parliamentary (Knesset) elections in the Zionist regime reveal that no political bloc has managed to secure the 61-seat threshold required to form a government, pushing the political crisis in Tel Aviv into a new phase.

Netanyahu’s bloc, which encompasses right-wing and far-right parties, secured 53 out of the 120 total seats in the Knesset.

The Central Elections Committee of the Zionist regime concluded the final vote count—including ballots cast via “double envelopes” (pertaining to military personnel, prisoners, the ill, and those unable to appear at regular polling stations)—recording a total of 5,697,290 votes.

With these figures finalized, none of the political blocs succeeded in securing the 61-seat threshold required to form a cabinet: the coalition led by Benjamin Netanyahu won 53 seats, the rival coalition headed by Gadi Eisenkot secured 48 seats, and Arab parties garnered a total of 19 seats.
