PNN – Israeli media sources announced that Benjamin Netanyahu’s testimony in the Israeli court regarding corruption cases has ended after 17 months.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Hebrew-language newspaper “Israel Hayom” announced that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today concluded his testimony in the corruption cases after 98 court sessions held over 17 months.

Netanyahu appeared in court for the first time since his trial began in 2020 in late 2024 to testify about the corruption cases against him.

The Israeli prime minister faces charges of bribery, fraud and breach of public trust in three cases, known as 1000, 2000 and 4000.

In Case 1000, Netanyahu is accused of receiving gifts worth around $300,000 from Israeli-born Hollywood producer Arnon Milchan and Australian businessman James Packer in exchange for tax breaks and diplomatic support.

Case 2000 concerns Netanyahu’s negotiations with Arnon Mozes, publisher of Yedioth Ahronoth, in exchange for favorable media coverage in exchange for supporting a law to restrict the activities of the free newspaper Israel Hayom.

Case 4000 also alleges that Netanyahu facilitated a business deal in favor of Shaul Elovitch, a major shareholder in the Bezeq telecommunications company, in exchange for biased coverage on Elovitch’s Walla website.
