Pakistan newspapers: Iran will witness pragmatism and foreign openings in the era of Pezishkiyan

An opportunity for the West to interact constructively with Tehran

However, the English-language Downprint newspaper of Islamabad stated in its analytical report that the presence of doctors at the top of power is an ideal opportunity for the western world to interact constructively with the Islamic Republic of Iran in the new era, so the westerners should change their approach.

It seems that Pezishkiyan defend Iran’s interaction with the axis of resistance in the Middle East. While understanding the strategic importance of these alliances in the geopolitics of the Middle East, he pursues a focus on diplomacy and support for the oppressed nations, which aligns with Iran’s principles.

In the end, Dawn newspaper added: The pragmatic approach of the Iranian people emphasizes his belief that economic revival and securing national interests can be achieved through calculated diplomatic interaction instead of confrontation.

Pakistan’s Aaj TV news channel also wrote: Massoud Pezishkiyan has two critical tests ahead of him, including improving livelihood and strengthening social peace. He has won the majority of votes by the people who have heard important promises from their elected president, so it should be seen how the doctors can achieve their set goals.

According to this report, the Prime Minister of Pakistan Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif in a telephone conversation with the President-elect of Iran, Dr. Pezishkiyan, emphasized Islamabad’s readiness to develop comprehensive relations with Tehran and said: The agreements between the two countries during Sayed Raisi’s visit to Pakistan are a very good foundation for a mutually beneficial partnership.

Dr. Masoud Pezishkiyan became the elected president of Iran by winning the majority of votes in the second stage of the 14th presidential election.

The total number of votes received in all branches inside and outside the country is 30 million 530 thousand 157, based on which, the number of votes for Masoud Pezishkiyan is 16 million 384 thousand 403 and the number of votes for Saeed Jalili is 13 million 538 thousand 179.
