Putin: We will develop good relations with Iran.
The Russian president said: “We have very good relations with Iran and we will develop these relations in every possible way.”
Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, said on Wednesday evening that Moscow intends to develop good relations with Iran.
Speaking to the winners and finalists of the Russian Teacher of the Year competition in Sochi, Putin explained: “We have very good relations with Iran and we will develop these relations in every possible way.”
Regarding the improvement of Moscow-Tehran relations, he said: “Russia is interested in establishing educational institutions in the Russian language with Russian methods for educating children in countries like Iran.”
According to “Sputnik” news agency, the Russian president emphasized that this soft power in the best sense of the word is in the expansion of culture and education system.
In this regard, Putin added: “Of course, in my opinion, we should first of all support the interest in our education, language, and culture in countries that were once part of a single country, the Soviet Union.” Because we have very strong relationships that still exist.”
Previously, “Mikhail Ulyanov”, the permanent representative of Russia in international organizations, in response to the visit of the defense minister of this country to Iran, called a dialogue between Tehran and Moscow, including between the military officials of the two countries, necessary.
The development of defense diplomacy, expansion of bilateral cooperation, as well as dealing with common threats and international terrorism are among the main axes of the meeting between the two sides.
