PNN – Media outlets are reporting a shooting near the U.S. Consulate in Toronto, Canada.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network Citing Reuters; Canadian police announced a shooting occurred outside the U.S. Consulate in downtown Toronto on Monday; this marks the second such incident in the past four months.
According to the report, Canadian police officers, alerted by the sound of gunfire, stated that they found evidence of shots having been fired outside the building.
Meanwhile, CTV News reported a heavy police presence around the U.S. consulate following the firing of at least one shot outside the building early Monday morning. Although police have not yet confirmed whether the consulate was the intended target, the incident comes about four months after the building was struck by gunfire in a separate shooting.
