The assassination of Seyed Hassan Nasrallah and the balance of war against the Zionist regime.

The assassination of Seyed Hassan Nasrallah and the balance of war against the Zionist regime.

Al-Jazeera news website, in a conversation with analysts of security and strategic issues in the region, examined the issue of whether the martyrdom of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary general of Hezbollah in Lebanon, could be effective in the anti-Zionist campaign of this party.

Munir Shehadeh, an analyst of regional strategic issues and a former coordinator of the Lebanese government and UNIFIL forces, announced that recent events such as the explosion of pager devices and the assassination of several leaders of the Rezvan unit, as well as the martyrdom of Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary general of Hezbollah, although they can have an impact on the performance of the resistance. but these forces have an exemplary solidarity and even a few hours after these attacks, they have resumed launching rockets against the Zionist enemy. This issue shows Hezbollah’s ability to quickly restore its balance.

Shahadeh adds: Despite the complicated conditions, the resistance does not stop attacking the occupied territories. We can even see that after the announcement of the assassination of Martyr Nasrallah, the number of interceptor missiles fired at the occupied territories, including Tel Aviv, has increased, which shows the continuation of its resistance and strength to confront the Zionist enemy.

7 doubling the population of the Zionist refugees

This security analyst pointed to the developments in the southern front of the occupied territories and emphasized that Tel Aviv is also facing serious challenges in this area and it seems that the operations of the resistance forces will continue in that axis until the end of the war in Gaza. Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of the Zionist regime, is trying to return the residents of the northern lands to their homes, while the Lebanese resistance has managed to fire its rockets to a depth of 120 kilometers towards Tel Aviv. In this way, it can be said that all these areas and settlements are exposed to the displacement of their residents, and instead of trying to return 120,000 to 130,000 displaced Zionists, Israel should think about returning more than one million displaced people.

Shahadeh pointed to the lack of a gap between the two fronts of Gaza and South Lebanon and emphasized that the resistance has a variety of options, especially after the Zionist regime crossed the red lines, which has left its hands open for freedom of action in this field. In this regard, Hezbollah forces have increased their attacks with medium-range missiles and new weapons, and if Israel wants to launch a ground military operation, it can be said that it has given a gift to the resistance because if the war starts at zero distance, air support Enemy forces will be stopped.

Pointing out that the resistance has a high power in the ground war, Shahadeh emphasized that the nature of the lands of southern Lebanon is very different from Gaza and the hard-to-pass lands can be seen there. The area of this area is also large and has a width of about 118 km and a depth of 50 km, which is more than the entire area of Gaza.

Pointing out that Hezbollah has tunnels equipped with large amounts of anti-tank weapons and Cornet and Tharullah missiles in this area, he emphasized that in case of a ground attack, Israeli tanks will be destroyed even before they enter the battlefield.

Dr. Ali Ahmed, a writer, and analyst of political issues, considers the continuation of the war in the northern front of the occupied territories as a natural thing and believes that the resistance has no option but to face the challenges ahead. Israeli occupiers have started an all-out war, and thus the resistance must withstand the enemy’s attacks.

He expressed that although this war was accompanied by losses and hardships for Hezbollah, the resistance gradually overcame this shock. The history of the resistance shows that they always go through the shocks in the first weeks of the conflict with the Zionist enemy. The experience of the 33-day war also showed this issue. At that time, the Israelis inflicted heavy blows at the beginning of the war, but the resistance contained these blows during the first week and succeeded in changing the course of developments.

Ali Ahmad expressed that the resistance is still powerfully present in the field and will cause a lot of damage to the enemy. Realization of this reality only takes time. Therefore, just as the Zionist enemy has failed to achieve its goals and achievements in the Gaza war over the past year, it will certainly not achieve anything against the stability of the Lebanese resistance.
