Continuing his pattern of narcissism, the U.S. President attempted to spin the public’s negative view of him by asking: Why shouldn’t it be otherwise? After all, there have been the largest tax cuts, unprecedented employment figures, the greatest foreign investment in U.S. history, completely secure borders, a major victory in Venezuela, the nuclear disarmament of Iran (!), unparalleled respect and success worldwide, and many other achievements. Do not trust the “Far-Left’s” fake poll numbers. They are corrupt and dishonest—just as the “country-destroying Democrats” are corrupt and dishonest. Vote Republican for American greatness!
Trump’s demagogic claims come as a Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted on July 31 shows that only one-third of Americans support an illegal U.S. aggression against Iran—a figure representing the lowest level of support since the early days of the conflict.
This decline in support has also crossed party lines.
A Quinnipiac University poll also showed that 60 percent of voters now oppose U.S. military action in Iran.
Among independent voters surveyed by Reuters/Ipsos, 67 percent opposed war, while only a quarter supported it.
Meanwhile, according to a new poll released by CNN, two-thirds of Americans (67 percent) believe that Donald Trump’s military decisions regarding the conflict with Iran have harmed the United States.
According to the poll, only 21 percent stated that Trump’s military actions had benefited their country.
