According to this Yemeni official, the number of Saudi ships that have turned back since last Monday—having been denied passage—has reached 16. Furthermore, since the imposition of the Yemeni blockade, no Saudi oil tanker has passed through the Bab al-Mandab Strait—in either direction—to date.
The Yemeni official added: The decision to ban the movement of Saudi ships remains in effect, and Yemeni armed forces will not allow any ship to pass.
