PNN – A Zionist analyst emphasized that the occupying regime has failed to achieve strategic results and that Israel has not succeeded in completing the work on any of the fronts after 925 days of fighting that began on October 7; Hamas is still standing, Hezbollah withstood a tough war, and Iran will probably emerge from this war stronger than before.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the bulletin, mocking calls have been published on the Israeli regime’s social media networks suggesting that the so-called “Independence Day” ceremony be held on July 4 (American Independence Day) instead of its official date of April 22, due to the ceasefire imposed by US President Donald Trump on Israel in the war with Iran and Lebanon.
Yoav Limor, a military analyst for the Zionist newspaper Yisrael Hayom, believes that the ceasefire that Trump imposed on Israel on the fronts of Iran, Lebanon, and before that in Gaza, has placed Tel Aviv in a challenging situation; a situation in which the occupying regime has failed to convert the army’s numerous operational achievements into strategic results.
He added: In fact, after 925 days of fighting that began on October 7, Israel has not managed to complete the work on any front. Hamas remains intact and is working hard to rebuild itself; Hezbollah withstood a tough war despite empty threats of its destruction; and Iran will likely emerge from this war stronger than ever.
The Zionist analyst also claimed: Despite the heavy blows that Israel inflicted on all three sides, as well as Ansarullah in Yemen, at the end of the war it became clear that the fate of Israel’s interests was not decided in Tel Aviv, but in Washington.
Limor referred to a former speech by Benjamin Netanyahu in the Knesset during his time as opposition leader. In this speech, he emphasized that the real test of a prime minister in Israel is his ability to say the word “no” to the US president.
Limor stated: Netanyahu failed the practical test against “Donald Trump.”
The Zionist analyst emphasized that the US President’s tweet on Friday, in which he forbade Israel in capital letters from attacking Lebanon, was not simply an operational directive, but a public humiliation and a terrible blow to Israel’s authority and deterrence.
According to Limor and based on statements by Zionist officials, it seems that Israel will inevitably back down on the issue of Iran’s missiles and allied forces, and now it only needs to ensure that the United States does not agree to dangerous concessions on the Iranian nuclear issue, either in terms of the withdrawal of highly enriched uranium or the Iranians’ ability to return to enrichment in the near future.
Pointing out that the complexity of the situation in Lebanon is no less than on other fronts, he claimed that restrictions have been imposed on Israeli operations in southern Lebanon, such that their goals must be purely defensive and for the security of the forces. This situation is a recipe for continued hostile operations, casualties in the army ranks, and increasing frustration among the residents of northern occupied Palestine who are disappointed with Hezbollah’s defeat.
According to this Zionist analyst, unlike Gaza, where the promised “absolute victory” was not achieved, the northern front of occupied Palestine is on the verge of collapse; the loss of trust in the security sphere and the absolute abandonment of the civilian sector are decisive factors in accelerating the exodus from this region, which will finalize its fate.
Limor believes that the only way for Israel to get out of this abyss is to reach an agreement with Lebanon; a path that is fraught with many mines, the most important of which is the inability of the Lebanese government to adhere to its commitments.
He concluded by noting that the sum of these circumstances has placed Israel in an awkward position at the beginning of its 79th year of existence: Tel Aviv is behaving on the surface as if it were a regional or even global power – as Netanyahu claimed – but in reality, it has turned itself into an entity under the protection of America.
He added: Especially as Trump approaches another election campaign that will overshadow the second and final half of his term in the White House, a situation in which Qatar and Turkey play a role in Gaza, Hezbollah remains immune in Lebanon, Iran and Qatar have a margin of security, and the majority of public opinion in the world and even in the United States is hostile to Israel is a very difficult situation.
