PNN – A picture posted online of an Israeli soldier insulting a statue of the Virgin Mary in southern Lebanon has once again sparked global anger, disgust, and hatred of the occupying regime’s army.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; in this image, published by the website “Documenting the Israeli Genocide,” an Israeli soldier places a cigarette in the mouth of a statue of the Virgin Mary in a derogatory act.
The website wrote after publishing this image: Israel does not hold its military accountable and never will, which is why they continue to disrespect religious statues and publish photos of themselves that they are proud of.
In April, a video of an Israeli soldier crushing a statue of Jesus Christ with a hammer after pulling it down from its pedestal in a village in southern Lebanon sparked widespread global outrage on social media.
The image quickly went viral, garnering millions of views and tens of thousands of comments, indicating the level of anger and hatred for the Israeli army’s derogatory actions.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar later apologized for an army soldier damaging a Christian religious symbol in southern Lebanon, calling the act shameful.
