Al-Akhbar: America is surprised by the amount and accuracy of the attacks on its bases.
Al-Akhbar newspaper wrote in a report that the US military is amazed by the quantity and quality of attacks on its bases in Syria and Iraq.
Simultaneously with the escalation of the Zionist regime’s attacks on the Gaza strip, the resistance forces throughout the region have also been on alert and triggered, and during the past few days, the bases of the American occupying army in Iraq and Syria have been the target of various attacks.
Al-Akhbar newspaper, Beirut edition, wrote in a report today (November 6th) that the Americans are surprised by the intensity and precision of these attacks, as this level of attack on the country’s bases in Iraq and Syria has never been seen before.
In the meantime, US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin claimed yesterday that the country’s army has targeted two military facilities in eastern Syria that are affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps in response to the attacks. Joe Biden has also said that the United States will never tolerate attacks on its forces. Biden also claimed that US airstrikes targeted weapons depots near the Al-Bukamal region in eastern Syria.
On the other hand, field sources in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor province told Al-Akhbar newspaper in Syria that the American occupation forces carried out two airstrikes in the area of our farms between the village of “Al-Quriya” and the city of “Al-Mayadeen” in the east of Deir-ez-Zor and targeted the positions of the allied forces of the Syrian army. This was the second time that they were targeted by the American army in a recent year.
Quoting field sources, Al-Akhbar denied Joe Biden’s claim that there was any weapons storage at the bombing site and wrote that the targeted forces were stationed in this area to fight ISIS and prevent the infiltration of terrorist elements.
The response of the resistance groups did not last long, and two hours after the attack, Al-Omar base, the largest base of the US occupation army in Syria, was targeted with six missiles, most of which hit inside the base.
In the past 10 days, the resistance has shelled the illegal US bases in Syria 10 times, and these attacks are enough for the US to be on alert and strengthen its defense positions to prevent further successful attacks. In the meantime, the American media reported that at least 24 soldiers of this country were wounded during the recent attacks.
