Foreign Affairs: Operation “Al-Aqsa Storm” endangered the existence of Israel

PNN – “Foreign Affairs” magazine emphasized in an analysis, referring to the wrong performance of the extremist cabinet of “Benjamin Netanyahu” in the illegal attack on Gaza and increasing regional tensions in the Middle East: The anti-Israeli operation of Al-Aqsa Storm on October 7th and Israel’s incorrect political and international approaches in response to it, brought the conditions of this regime back to the first years of its establishment and trying to maintain its existence.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, this American media pointed out that the Zionist regime’s approach was wrong in facing the Al-Aqsa storm operation on October 7, 2023 and emphasized: Israeli leaders should have come to an understanding with the United States and NATO on the nature of the war and how to wage it against Hamas, and committed themselves to a diplomatic process aimed at creating a just and realistic solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Further explaining his claim that military operations against civilians in the Gaza strip were wrong, Foreign Affairs added: But the cabinet of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, chose another way and started the war in Gaza without international legitimacy, diplomatic support or even having a comprehensive strategy. The Israelis carried out major military attacks in Gaza without setting clear and achievable political goals and without having a clear theory and strategy for victory.

This analysis emphasized that the Zionist regime, by neglecting to specify the regional and global contexts of this war, is sinking deeper into the Gaza swamp day by day, and wrote: This war has isolated Israel, damaged its economy, made its elite flee, and made life in Israel (the occupied territories) unbearable.

In a part of this article, it is stated: Israel’s war in Gaza is considered by many around the world to be brutal and cruel, and in fact, it is an unfair battle between an Israeli Goliath and a Palestinian David. Few see it as a threat to Western values. Thanks to Israel’s horrific combination of strategic mistakes, people around the world view Israel as an imperialist villain. In the first half of 2024, the Cabinet of National Unity in Israel was dissolved, Israeli society disintegrated, the military disintegrated, and Israel’s ties to Washington weakened. Dozens of prisoners are still kept in Gaza tunnels and about 100,000 Israelis are displaced in their (claimed) land.

Referring to the increase in critical conditions in the occupied territories and the West Bank, Foreign Affairs added: At the same time, the dominance of far-right politicians in Israel and the attacks of extremist settlers on civilians in the West Bank have endangered the position of the Palestinian Authority and the risk of a third intifada.

The analysis described what began in October last year as a multi-dimensional event larger in scope than anything seen so far in the 21st century.

At the end of this analysis, Faren Afers wrote: The conflicts of the last one year in the Middle East are the end of the five-decade golden age of Israel and also the end of the eight-decade golden age of the Jews, who suppressed and suppressed anti-Semitism by promoting the Holocaust (killing of Jews in Nazi Germany). The Israelis have launched a war that they have not waged since 1948. With the increase in hatred of Israelis, the Jewish diaspora (Jews away from the homeland) has also increased, and this is an event that has not happened since the Holocaust.
