Israeli prisoner: The army bombarded us despite knowing where we were

PNN – An Israeli prisoner who was released following a prisoner exchange deal in early December says that the Israeli army bombed the place where he and his two four-year-old children were, despite knowing where they were being held.

According to Pakistan News Network, an Israeli prisoner who was freed by Hamas and returned to the occupied Palestinian territories, says that the Israeli army attacked him and his children in Gaza, even though he knew they were there.

According to the evening (Friday) report of “Al-Jazeera” channel, this Israeli prisoner, whose name is “Verot Hajar Brodich”, expressed these words in an interview with Channel 12 of the Zionist regime’s television, with all the things he has seen in Gaza, he has come to the conclusion that the return of prisoners from Gaza was not the priority of the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet.

Brodich tells the story of his presence in Gaza: [Israeli forces] targeted a building near where we were. All the windows exploded and the walls collapsed! “Miraculously, five of us got out with only minor injuries,” Broditch continues.

The military branch of the Hamas movement surprised the Israeli army in a military operation around Gaza on the 7th of October and captured at least 239 settlers. Dozens of them were exchanged with dozens of Palestinian prisoners in early December.

Verot Hajar Brodich continues: “It was on Monday – October 9th – that the Israeli army attacked us. The army was always attacking the areas near us.”

Broditch continues: “It is difficult to explain to two children who are 4 years old that the one who is bombing us is the Israeli army; The same army that was supposed to protect them [my children] in their homes. He left them and now he is bombing them in Gaza.”

This prisoner continues: “It [the bombings] continued and stopped. Every day that passed, I told myself that the situation cannot continue like this, and this must mean something.”

Broditch adds: [The Israeli army] knew I was there. They knew my children were there. Our children are very important treasures for Israel, so what happened was not rational. When we returned [from Gaza], I realized that we were not the only priority of the Israeli cabinet at all, but the first issue was the defeat of Hamas and the return of the kidnapped.
