Wall Street Journal: Israel’s current situation does not allow a military attack on Lebanon

PNN – The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday night, quoting its knowledgeable sources: The Pentagon believes that Israel’s current situation will not allow it to launch a military attack on Lebanon.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Wall Street quoted its sources as saying that the Pentagon said that the Israeli army will need more troops in specific positions.

This American newspaper quoted the Pentagon as saying that this Israeli ground attack might happen in the coming days.

Also, US President Joe Biden said on Wednesday that a full-scale war in the Middle East is possible, but it is also possible to end Israel’s wars in Gaza and with Lebanon’s Hezbollah.

He stated in a program on the American “ABC” channel: [The occurrence of] a full-scale war is possible, but I think there is also an opportunity. We are still working on resolving [conflicts] that could fundamentally change [the situation in] the entire region.

Meanwhile, the Reuters news agency has announced that the United States and France are working on a ceasefire proposal to stop the escalation of conflicts in Lebanon.

According to one of the sources, the proposal includes a ceasefire in northern occupied Palestine to pave the way for a diplomatic solution.

These sources also said that no significant progress has been made in this field.

In this regard, the Zionist channel “Kan” reported that the American proposal includes a temporary ceasefire for four weeks in Gaza and Lebanon, and in this regard, intensive negotiations with Hezbollah and Hamas with the mediation of the United States and France to reach an agreement exist.

“Kan” announced that “Ron Dermer”, the ambassador of the Zionist regime in the United States, is carrying out the negotiations with Netanyahu’s permission.
